Arkansas Lottery is run by the government of Arkansas. On November 4, 2008, Arkansas voters approved a ballot question legalizing the sale of lottery tickets there. In 2006, Democrat Bill Halter, a former Rhodes Scholar, was running against Republican Jim Holt for lieutenant governor of Arkansas. As part of his campaign, Halter argued in favor of a lottery program that would fund college scholarships, similar to the models already in place in Georgia and Tennessee, that’s why it is also called Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Arkansas started selling Scratch-off tickets on September 28, 2009.
On July 1, 2009, Arkansas voted to join Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL); it was the 33rd lottery to join. Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Act establishes a Commission to oversee the operation of the Lottery in Arkansas (Arkansas Lottery Commission). The Commission had 9 members by law, of whom three were appointed by the Governor, three by Speaker of the state House of the Representatives, and three by President Pro Tempore of the state Senate. The normal term of each commissioner was six years after the initial appointment of the commissioners.
Arkansas Lottery Commission was abolished in the 2015 legislative session of the General Assembly. Act 218 of 2015 dissolved 9 member commissions and placed lottery operations under the purview of the Department of the Finance and Administration.
Arkansas Lottery conducts its in-house draw games using a random number generator (RNG). It is believed to be first U.S lottery to begin with computerized drawings. Balls and drawing machines are not used by the Lottery. This classic method drawing method is used in multi-jurisdictional games.
Arkansas Lottery includes three In-house draw games (Cash 3, Cash 4, and Natural State Jackpot), three Multi-jurisdictional draw games (Lucky for life, Mega Millions, and Powerball) and two Former multi-state games (Decades of Dollars and Monopoly Millionaires’ Club).
An Arkansas Scholarship Lottery instant game qualifies for entry into a “Play It Again” drawing. Top cash prize winner will be selected randomly from all qualifying entries form that game when the game is over. Some player-favorite games like Jumbo Bucks may always available to play. There will be second chance drawings periodically scheduled to award the top prize.

Arkansas Lottery Game Cash 3
Arkansas Lottery Cash 3 began on December 13, 2009. Cash 3 is a game that has 13 drawings weekly (twice daily except Sundays). There are four play types in Cash 3: Straight, Box, Straight/Box, and Combo. If you wager $1, you can win up to $500 top prize in a Straight or Combo play. The lowest prize you can win in Cash 3 is $40. This prize of $40 is possible to win in a 6 – Way Box and 6 – Way Straight/Box play type with a $0.50 wager. Players can play the same number for up to 14 days (14 draws for midday or evening tickets or 28 draws if play both times).
First of all, choose a wager amount of $0.50 and $1. Mark Quick Pick for random digits or pick your own three numbers between 0 and 9. Pick your play type and then enter the midday or evening day or both. You can choose to add multiple consecutive draws. In Advance Play box, select which day to play and if you leave it empty, you will enter the next draw. Check your numbers to see if you have the winning match after the draw.
The best odds in the game are in the 6 – Way Box and 6 – Way Combo play types. Players have a 1 in 167 chance of winning a prize.

Arkansas Lottery Cash 4 was originally to begin in February 2010, but was delayed until July 12, 2010. It has also 13 weekly drawings. Prices, prizes, and options vary. In Cash 4, there are four play types; Straight, Box, Straight/Box, and Combo. You can win top prize of $5,000 when you wager $1 in a Straight or Combo play. The lowest prize that you can win is $100. Players can win this much with the 24 – Way Box or 24 – Way Straight/Box play types. For a midday or evening play, you can add up to 14 consecutive draws. You can add up to 28 consecutive draws for a play with both times.
Select a wager of $0.50 or $1. Pick your own numbers from 0 to 9. For random numbers, mark Quick Pick. Choose your play type and then mark the midday or evening draw or both. Choose if you want to play consecutive draws. In Advance Play, you can pick which day you had like to play start. After the draw, check the numbers to see if you have won.
The best odds of winning – 1 in 417 – are available in Box, Straight/Box, and Combo plays when all of your four numbers are different.

Arkansas Lottery Natural State Jackpot began sales of tickets on August 27, 2012. Arkansas winning numbers are chosen by a random number generator. The jackpot is split evenly between the winning tickets in the event of multiple winners. Players can win the prize if they match at least two numbers from the draw. You can enter up to 20 consecutive draws on single ticket.
Get a Quick Pick or pick your five numbers from 1 to 39. Mark how many in Multi Play box if you want to play additional draws. After the draw occurs, check if you won.

Arkansas Lottery Lucky for Life began on 2009 as a Connecticut-only game. It has spread to a total of 25 jurisdictions over the years making in one of the most popular games in the U.S. Lucky for Life draws are held at Hartford, Connecticut. After all it added five lotteries and became a regional game under the current name. On January 27, 2015, current version began; as of April 2017 it is available in 22 states plus District of Columbia. Lucky for Life’s two highest prize tiers ($1,000 per day and $25,000 per year) are “lifetime” prizes; winners of either tier can choose cash instead. First Arkansas Lottery Mega Millions drawing including Arkansas was held on February 2, 2010. Mega millions tickets went on sale on January 31, 2010. Current version of Mega Millions began in 2013. Mega Millions is played in 45 states in the U.S. as well as District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands. It was introduced in 1996 as a Big Game and then re-launched in 2002 as The Big Game Mega Millions temporarily before being renamed as Mega Millions. California does not offer the Mega Millions. Yet New York and California have had the most winners for Mega Millions. Mega Millions players have the option of purchasing tickets for draws in advance. However maximum number of draws varies by jurisdiction. Mega Millions drawing are held in Atlanta, Georgia, at WSB-TV. Mega Ball number is the sixth number on your ticket ranging between 1 and 25. Arkansas Lottery Powerball draws are held at Multi-State Lottery Association head office at Tallahassee, Florida. 48 jurisdictions participate in the Powerball Lottery. This includes 45 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. Powerball number is the sixth number on your ticket ranging between 1 and 26. Matching it wins you at least $4. Power Play multiplies all non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10. It all depends on the multiplier number selected before the draw. Arkansas Lottery Game Decades of Dollars
Decades of Dollars were the name of Virginia-only lottery game. It began as a multi-state game in January 2011. Georgia and Kentucky joined Virginia in launching Decades of Dollars. Arkansas joined in May 2011. Decades of Dollars replaced Win for Life in Kentucky and Win for Life ended in 2014 as a Virginia-only game. Decades of Life became a Virginia-only game in October 2014 when other three states joined ill-fated Monopoly Millionaires’ Club drawing game. Decades of Life held its final drawing on April 30, 2015 and Virginia replaced DOD with Cash 4 Life becoming its fourth member but non-contiguous with its other three states. Arkansas never produced a top prize in DOD.
Decades of Dollars winners had a choice of 30 annual payments of $250,000 each or a lump sum of $4,000,000.
Decades of Dollars was drawn Monday and Thursday nights.
In Decades of Dollars players chose 6 numbers from 1 through 47.

Arkansas Lottery Game Monopoly Millionaires’ Club
Monopoly millionaires’ Club began in October 2014 in 22 states and District of Columbia. However, poor sales largely due to player confusion led to the game suspending sales after only 10 draws of Friday-only game. In 2015 MMC was resurrected as a series of scratch games a television game show featuring Monopoly Millionaires’ Club aired beginning March 28, 2015.
To win the jackpot players must have matched 5 of 52 numbers in the main field and a sixth number from a second field of 28; the latter was represented on the ticket by a property from a U.S. edition Monopoly board game such as Marvin Gardens for the number 22.
Monopoly Millionaires’ Club jackpots started at $15 million and were to be capped at $25 million until won.
