PCSO Request Filipino To Buy Lotto Games Tickets To Help Taal Victims
To aid the victims of the eruption of Taal Volcano in Batangas, a Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) member urged the general public to patronize lotto games to accumulate funds.
PCSO Director Sandra Cam said that the funds which will be collected are going to be wont to help the evacuees start small businesses and rebuild their homes.
“All folks have the potential of helping, and buying our lotto products may be a way of helping our countrymen suffering from the eruption of Afrikaans Volcano. allow us to help the residents of Batangas and Cavite,” she said.
“Through this easy gesture, you’ll help the families suffering from the eruption. Let show our like to them by buying lotto tickets. Imagine, you already helped and at an equivalent time you bought an opportunity of becoming a lotto millionaire,” Cam added.
Cam explained that, under the PCSO Charter, 30 percent of the agency’s revenues go on to PCSO’s Charity Fund.
“For every P1, P30 centavos attend our Charity Fund. this may help our countrymen suffering from Taal’s eruption to rise again,” she said.
Earlier, PCSO donated 5, 000 N95 respiratory masks, 3, 300 grocery packs, and medicines to evacuation sites in Batangas.
PCSO head Royina Marzan-Garma said PCSO is now preparing financial assistance for the government units suffering from the eruption.
