Pennsylvania Lottery is Upgrading its Systems Soon for System Modernization

Pennsylvania Lottery Sales Terminals will be Unavailable Temporarily For System Upgrades

The Pennsylvania Lottery is getting a refresh! To enhance player convenience and accessibility, the lottery is rolling out a brand-new upgrade that eliminates the previous points system. This exciting change aims to simplify the lottery experience for everyone who enjoys trying their luck at winning big. Pennsylvania Lottery

Previously, the Pennsylvania Lottery offered a VIP Players Club program that rewarded players with points based on their ticket purchases. These points could then be redeemed for various perks and entries into exclusive drawings. While this system had its benefits, the new upgrade aims to make things even easier for players.

The systems will undergo maintenance on March 19th so lottery sales terminals at stores will be temporarily unavailable that day. But lottery drawings will happen as scheduled so the Pennsylvania Lottery is encouraging everyone to buy their tickets in advance.

This upgrade will affect the processing of claims and will remain longer throughout the rest of March, and redeeming retail coupons will be paused between March 15th and 20th. Even online players will also be impacted, on March 19th, Draw Games like Powerball and Mega Millions won’t be for purchase, at least for a short while.

Pennsylvania officials said in a statement “We’re passionate about responsibly generating funds for older residents. Thank you for your support and patience.”
