In California Lottery Los Angeles County Player Hooked a $2.4 Million Prize

On Saturday $2.4 Million Worth of Powerball Ticket Sold in the California Lottery

Southern California is proving to be a lucky spot for lottery players this week! While no winner emerged for the massive $750m Powerball jackpot on Saturday night, a lucky ticket sold in Los Angeles County snagged a cool $2.4 million prize.

The winning numbers drawn on Saturday, March 23, 2024, were 6-23-25-34 and 51 with a PB 3. The Power Play multiplier for this draw was 2X.

The winning ticket, tantalizingly close to the jackpot, matched five out of the six numbers, missing only the elusive Powerball. This lucky ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven located at 12500 Roscoe Blvd. in Sun Valley.

With no grand prize winner on Saturday, the Powerball jackpot continues to climb. The estimated prize for Monday’s drawing has now ballooned to a staggering $800 million! The wait for a jackpot winner continues, with the last lucky ticket hitting all six numbers sold in Michigan in January.

This isn’t the only lottery excitement brewing in California. The Mega Millions jackpot is also heating up, currently sitting at an estimated $1.1 billion. Just last Friday, a Riverside County resident managed to win three-quarters of a million dollars by matching five numbers on a Mega Millions ticket.

The California Lottery reminds players that while Saturday’s Powerball drawing didn’t produce a jackpot winner, someone from Banning did manage to snag a significant prize. A ticket sold at the Shell gas station located at 2192 West Ramsey Street matched five Mega Millions numbers, but missed the Mega number, resulting in a $750,000 windfall (before taxes).
